Your privacy

Updated 11 October 2026. Bodikount is an adult dating service operated by the app owner. Contact the operator at codewitted@gmail.com for privacy requests.

What the app stores

Your account email, password hash or Google account link, sessions, profile name, birth date, gender, preferences, interests, avatar descriptions and images; device coordinates and reported accuracy when you grant location permission and use Find or update location; likes, matches, messages, encounter confirmations, reports, blocks and purchases.

Who sees what

Eligible signed-in members see your discoverable avatar, name, age, bio, interests and coarse distance band. Your email, birth date and exact coordinates are not exposed through discovery. Matches see your messages and mutually confirmed encounter requests. Kount totals are private. Administrators can handle reports and access application records when necessary. Text chat is access-controlled, not end-to-end encrypted.

How data is used

Account and profile data provides the service and prevents abuse. Nearby matching, optional sparks and the Kount connect signal use your permission-based location. A connect signal invites eligible discoverable members within your shared distance preferences, capped at 25 km, for ten minutes. Turn it off to withdraw pending invitations. Accepting an invitation creates a private DM connection. Likes, Super Likes, signals and matches create in-app alerts. With both members opting in, Sparks detects recent device positions within 500 metres; Crossed paths records positions within 50 metres, with a timestamp and an approximate 200-metre map area. These are location estimates, not proof you met. Detection requires recent, sufficiently accurate GPS and runs while the app is visible. Both members must explicitly accept a proximity invitation to unlock chat. Sparks expire after ten minutes and crossing history after seven days; expired area records are removed by daily cleanup. Deleting location also removes your shared area history. Profile preferences may reveal sensitive information; choose what you share. Discover me is on by default for new profiles; your avatar becomes visible once generated and eligible for discovery. You can turn Discover me off in Me. Turning discovery off hides you; deleting location removes stored coordinates. Location samples older than 24 hours are excluded from discovery.

Service providers

Floot hosts the application, database and private files. Avatar descriptions are sent to the AI image provider through Floot to generate images. Google handles Google sign-in if selected. OpenStreetMap tile servers receive ordinary network requests to display the map. If you enable map visibility and discovery, eligible members can see your avatar in a coarse map area, rather than your exact coordinates. You can disable map visibility in Profile & preferences. When connected, Stripe handles payment details and a TURN relay carries audio/video calls. These services may process data internationally.

Control and retention

Use Me to hide your profile, delete coordinates, export your account data or permanently delete your account and its associated application records and media. You can also use the account deletion page without reinstalling the app. Signed media links already issued can remain valid until expiry. Short-lived operational logs, backups, and records retained by payment providers follow their own retention rules. Ask the operator about access, correction, objection, restriction or deletion of your data. UK users may contact the Information Commissioner's Office.

Device storage

The app uses session cookies for authentication and may store interface preferences. Optional Floot visitor analytics are controlled by the consent banner; declining keeps analytics off.
